An excellent opportunity now exists for a qualified Certificate III Distribution Overhead Linesperson to join our experienced and successful teams based in the Kimberley region of WA. You will need to be able to demonstrate their experience in the distribution power line industry, and have a keen attitude and aptitude to get the job done.
Key duties & responsibilities for this position include:
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures in accordance with Energy Safety, the Network Operator and internal Company Policy
- Power distribution installations, service and maintenance for clients across the domestic, industrial, and government sectors.
- Delivery of quality workmanship within the time frames and budgets allocated.
- Ability to operate under pressure within a team to resolve faults.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III ESI - Distribution Overhead
- Current MR drivers license
- High Risk Work Licence for EWP
- High Risk Work Licence for dogging
- High Risk Work Licence for basic rigging
- A blue/white card
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster and availability to work additional overtime and weekends as required
- Exceptional time management skills
- Proven ability to interact with customers/stakeholders and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes
- Physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in the heat for prolonged periods
- A strong team focus and personal work ethic
- A proactive attitude and a high level of initiative
- High Risk Work Licence for forklift and crane (desirable)
